John Paul Jackson, 49, died Friday at McLeod-Dillon Hospital.
He was born in Dillon County, the son of Faye Powell and the late William Jackson.
Funeral services were held Monday at 3:00 p.m. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation was 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Survivors include his mother, Faye Powell of Dillon; Step father, Warren Powell of Dillon; sister, Lisa Lane of Latta; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; special friend, Shellie Brown of Dillon.
