The Dillon Garden Club met at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, at the home of Donna Borders.
After the business session, Donna presented a very interesting program on Camellias, using a presentation from the “Grumpy Gardener” of the Southern Living Magazine.
Afterwards, members spent time identifying the beautiful pink, red, white, and assorted camellias they had brought by locating their names in a book called An Encyclopedia of Camellias.
After the flowers were identified, they were taken to the South Carolina Welcome Center, where they received much attention from travelers visiting from out of state.
