The Latta Lady Vikings defeated Kingstree 22-0 in the run-ruled 3-inning game played in Latta on Monday, March 18.
Jena Stutler was the winning pitcher. She pitched 2 innings and allowed 1 hit, no runs, walked no one, and struck out 3. Allison Carter also pitched an inning for Latta.
Kingstree’s McGee was credited with the loss. She also pitched 2 innings and allowed 19 hits, 22 runs of which 17 were earned, walked 5, and struck out no one.
Latta jumped out to a 15-run lead in the bottom of the first inning and added 7 runs in the second inning.
