Services for Jimmy Lee Strickland, Jr. were held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Pyerian Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held 3:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Strickland, 55, went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 21, 2019.
Born in Dillon, SC, January 12, 1964, he was the son of Carolyn Hyatt Strickland and the late Jimmy Lee Strickland, Sr. He was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church, and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his daughters, Amanda M. Strickland and Victoria L. Strickland, both of Florence; mother of his children, Dena Strickland of Florence; mother, Carolyn Strickland of Dillon; sister, Tammy S. Jackson (Victor) of Dillon; nephews, Corey Jackson and Payton Jackson; with many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
