The Lake View Wild Gators varsity baseball team handed the visiting Creek Bridge team a 10-0 and a 12-0 loss in the doubleheader played in Lake View on Friday, March 15.
The Wild Gators Hunter Herlong picked up the win in the first game. He pitched 3 innings and allowed 1 hit, walked no one, allowed no runs, and struck out 8.
Lake View’s Thomas Skipper picked up a rbi on his double in 1 at-bat.
In game 2, Adarrian Dawkins picked up the win. He pitched 3 innings and allowed no hits, walked no one, and struck out 6.
The Wild Gators managed 7 hits led by Thomas Skipper who singled, tripled, and picked up a rbi in his 3 at bats while Hunter Herlong connected for a double and a rbi in his 2 at-bats. Marquise Johnson doubled and picked up a rbi in his 1 at-bat.
Lake View is 5-3 for the season and 2-0 in Region 6-A.
