Services for Floyd Wayne Arnette was held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Arnette, 66, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Carolina’s Hospital System in Mullins, SC.
Born in Dillon, SC, April 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Floyd Arnette and Vera Suggs Arnette. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and was a truck driver. He was also a member of the South Carolina National Guard.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Angela Arnette of Dillon; children, Dustin Arnette, Blake Arnette, Brooke (Keith) Coward, Drew Arnette, all of Dillon, Blaire (Brian) Winburn of Conway, and Wayne Arnette, Jr. (Carla) of Greenville; grandchildren, Kase Coward of Dillon, Madelyn, Natalie, Aubree, and Michael Brian Winburn of Conway; Dalton and Charlie Arnette of Greenville; sisters, Phyllis (Joe) Price, and Ginger Berry, both of Dillon.
Mr. Arnette was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tammie Arnette Clark; and mother-in-law, Marilyn Mishue.
