MANNING – Harry Arnold Myers, 79, husband of Aliher Felkel Myers, died Saturday, November 3, 2018, at McLeod Hospice House.

Born February 8, 1939, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Loring Lee Myers and the late Leila Chewning Myers. He was a US Army veteran and a proud member of the 82nd Airborne Division. He loved to cook, he was an avid fisherman and he was affectionately known as Sonny, Tiny Brother, Brother, Bubba and Poppi.
He is survived by his wife of Manning; a daughter, Tami Miller; a son, Jonathan Myers, both of Myrtle Beach; a sister, Marian Myers Larisey (Jack Breazeale) of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren, Joshua “Rooster” Skipper (Tatiana) of Anderson, Gabby “Little Buddy” Fowler (Zach) of Sumter and Ross “Roscoe” Miller of Myrtle Beach; and a great grandchild, Killian Baer Skipper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Myers Hamilton.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Pam Muise officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home.
