Services for Faye B. Hennessee will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Dillon First Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Hennessee, 94, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ Friday, August 17, 2018.
Born in Greenville, SC, September 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Hamilton Beddingfield and Carrie Baine Beddingfield. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and was retired from Southern Bell. She was the widow of William Joseph Hennessee.
Survivors include her son, William J. “Bill” Hennessee, Jr. of Columbia, SC; daughter, Debbie Faye Hyatt (Michael) of Dillon; grandchildren, Amy Hyatt, Kelly (Philip) Smith, Michael Joseph Hyatt (Heather), and Abby Hennessee; great-grandchildren, Sierra (Price) Lindsay, Taylor, Hannah, and Layce Arnette, Colby and Chaz Smith, Lillye, Hunter, and Leah Hyatt; great-great-granddaughter, Sadie Lindsay.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 400 N. 1st Ave., Dillon, SC 29536.
