Julie Wallace, a Florence native, is the new Administrative Assistant in the Dillon County Extension office. They are pleased to welcome Julie, who has previously worked with Clemson University as an Agriculture Assistant at the Pee Dee Research & Education Center in Florence for the past 19 years.
Julie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Francis Marion University in 2004 and her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2008.
“I’m very excited to be working with Clemson Extension in Dillon and I’m grateful for this new opportunity. I’m really looking forward to the adventure and being part of this team.”
Outside of the office, Julie volunteers with the Red Cross and the children’s ministry at her local church. She loves helping other people and making a difference in her community. Julie also enjoys hunting, fishing, and practicing photography. Her favorite pastime however, is time spent with (and spoiling) her niece, Adeline. Please give Julie a call at the Dillon County Extension Office. The new office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.
