June Arnette Bryant, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at McLeod Medical Center-Dillon after an illness.
Born in Dillon County, SC on December 8, 1936, she was the loving daughter of the late Willie “Son” Arnette and Sadie Harrington Arnette. She was a retired waitress who dearly loved her family and was of the Baptist faith. A lover of animals she enjoyed playing with her cats, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by daughters, Debbie Sinclair of Dillon, Leslie (Jackie) Turner of Dillon, Erin Bryant George (Paul White) of Oak Grove; by sons, Lester Eugene “Buddy” Webster (Margaret) of Hamer, SC and Edward Brian Webster of the home in Dillon; a sister, Cleo McKenzie of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Christie Sinclair, Zack Sinclair of Dillon, Patrick (Cherry) Sinclair of Mississippi, Melanie (Omar) Hernandez of Dillon, Jo Ellen (Larry) Ransom of Rock Hill, SC, Jackie L. Turner Jr. of Dillon, Christopher George of Oak Grove, Brittney George McRae (Devonte) of Florence,Lester Paul Webster of Florence, Shannon Legette (Shon) of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Sean Sinclair and Seresa Sinclair both of Mississippi, Aidan Froneberger, Isabella Hernandez and Jacob Hernandez all of Dillon, Khason Smith, Peyton McRae of Florence, Makkai & Mataya Legette of Virginia; special nieces, Sherry Snipes of Dillon, Dallas Page of Dillon, Victoria Snipes Thompson (Fredrick) of Dobson, NC and special nephew, Logan Hayes of Dillon; special friends, Ellis and Joannelle Grice of Dillon.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Benny Cooper will officiate. Visitation was held from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the funeral home.
Ms. Bryant was preceded in death by her parents listed above; and by brothers, Lewis and Lloyd Arnette; and a sister, Mildred Snipes.
