The Dillon County Council made Dillon County Fire Station Six (Bingham) a substation of Dillon County Fire Station One at their February meeting.
County Administrator Rodney Berry said this will bring no changes to the station whatsoever. He said it will give residents in that area a reduction on their homeowners insurance. Berry said it was a win all the way around.
The motion to make station six a substation was made by Councilman Robbie Coward. The motion was seconded by Councilman Harold Moody.
All voted in favor.
