Eloise C. King
Mrs. Eloise C. King, an avid servant of the Lord, went home to meet her heavenly Father face to face on August 27, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at Lake View Pentecostal Holiness Church August 29, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery directed by Cook Funeral Home of Lake View.
Mrs. King, daughter of the late Jim and Emma Callahan, was born October 31, 1922 in Robeson County, NC. She was a faithful employee of Anvil Knitwear, Mullins, SC for almost 50 years. Mrs. King was a lifetime member of the Lake View Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and deaconess, member of the missionary society and held numerous other offices.
Survivors are her daughter, Edna (Wendell) Miller; granddaughter, Darlyn M. Kirby; grandson, Garrett (Betty) Miller; great-granddaughter, Staci (Chris) Owens; great-great grandson, Miller Alan Owens; a special “little friend,” Baylee and brothers, James Kellahan and Cauldell (Ruth) Callahan.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Willie H. “Bill” King and brothers, Lee, Bernice, Demetrius and Eustace Callahan.
