Dillon Historic School Foundation is organizing a choir of Dillon High School graduates to sing and record the Dillon High School alma mater.
The alma mater has the original words and music from 1942 by Havelyn Jenkins, and an arrangement for SATB voices composed by Jimmy Woodle, a Dillon High School graduate.
Woodle developed the new arrangement in 2015 at the request of the Dillon Historic School Foundation.
The lyrics are as follows:

Dillon High School
Alma Mater
Arranged by Jimmy Woodle (2015)
Words and Music by
Havelyn Jenkins (1942)

Hail to thee!
Hail to thee!
Hail to thee!
Hail!

Hail to thee, our alma mater,
Our hearts belong to thee.
We’ll always love you best of all
Though others we may see;
For Dillon High School is our own
And we will never cease
Our songs of praises and of love
For your eternal peace.

Alma mater now we pledge to thee
Devotion strong and true.
Twas you who taught us from the start
To give where gift is due.
So here we honor Dillon High School
And we will try to be
Your loyal sons and daughters for all eternity.
