Two people have been charged for the Burglary and Malicious Injury to Property that occurred at the Sav-Mart Convenience Store and Southern States in Little Rock on April 29, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Marcus Bildon, age 36, of Little Rock, and Kenyana Lowery, age 25, of Dillon, were arrested by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Burglary (two counts), Grand Larceny (one count) and Malicious Injury to Property ( two counts) each.
On Friday, April 29, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at the Sav-Mart Convenience Store in Little Rock in reference to an 18-wheeler running through the front of the store. According to an incident report by Deputy Dennis Cox, deputies were dispatched to Sav-Mart in Little Rock after a passing motorist calling about an 18-wheeler running into the store.
Upon arrival noticed an 18-wheeler had run into the front of the store. After further investigation it was determined that the truck had intentionally run into the building to commit a crime and was stolen from another business in Little Rock, the truck was stolen from Southern States.
A building at Southern States had been burglarized and keys stolen to steal the 18-wheeler truck and damaged the gate and fence leaving the property. Deputy Cox was assisted by Deputies Michael Barfield, Phillip Davis, Allan Rogers and Sheriff Major Hulon.
