The Lake View Wild Gators varsity baseball took a double-header from Creek Bridge 10-0 in the first game and 9-0 in the second game held on Thursday, March 24, in Lake View.
Peyton Cox pitched a one-hitter in the 3-inning first game and struck out 7 and walked none in the 10-0 victory for the Wild Gators. The Wild Gators scored 10 runs in the bottom of the first inning.  Each team committed only 1 error in the game.
Lake View’s Webb Cardwell had 1 hit in 2 trips to the plate and 2 rbi in game one. Will Arnette was perfect at the plate with 1 hit in 1 at-bat with a rbi while Hunter Stevens was 1 for 2.
Creek Bridge’s Ford was credited with the loss in game one. Brent Herlong pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed no hits and walked no one in the second game to capture the victory for the Wild Gators at 9-0 over Creek Bridge.
Lake View did not commit an error while Creek Bridge committed 2.
Webb Carmichael was perfect at the plate in his 3 trips with a rbi while George Edwards connected for 1 hit in 2 at-bats with 2 rbi. Hunter Stevens also connected on 1 hit in as many trips to the plate with a rbi for the Wild Gators. the Gators Duane Nichols was 1 for 2 with a rbi.
Lake View is now 8-2 for the season.
