Stewart Heights Elementary students in first, second and third grade participate in the Reading Counts program during the school year.
On March 24, 2016, twenty-eight students who had earned an eighty-five percent average or above on all of their tests were eligible to participate in an Easter egg hunt. The purpose of the program is to celebrate reading and to encourage each child to do their best. (Contributed by Kim Hyatt)
