Memorial services for Jessie Wayne Alford will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at New Life Family Worship Center.  Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Alford, 70, died Monday, October 5, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Marlboro County, SC, June 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Colon L. Alford and Sarah Ellen Mudd Alford.
Survivors include his daughter, Sara Southwell of Dillon; son, Timothy Alford of Virginia Beach, VA;  6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; special granddaughter, Haylee Byrd; sister, Janie Kathryn Alford of Marion; brothers, Jerry (Shannon) Alford of Cookesville, TN, George “Bill” (Jane) Alford of Charlotte, NC, and James (Joann) Alford of Danville, VA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Alford was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Caulder; and his brother, Johnny Ray Alford.
