Dillon mayor Todd Davis reported on several upcoming events at a recent meeting.
The city will have their indoor yard sale on Saturday, October 10th from 7:00-11:00 a.m. at the City of Dillon Wellness Center. The city sponsors this event in the spring and the fall.
The Dillon County Theatre will open their season on Saturday, October 10th with the Florence Men’s Choral Society. There will be a reception for patrons and sponsors in the Lockemy Courtyard at 6:15 p.m. followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m.
The Dillon County Junior Charity League will have their fall festival at the City of Dillon Wellness Center from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
The Dillon County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Dillon will host Hallowe’en for the Special on Tuesday, October 27th at the City of Dillon Wellness Center. Special needs school-age children will be treated to a carnival with games, crafts, music, contests, and of course, trick-or-treat.
The Taste of Dillon County, sponsored by the Dillon County Chamber of Commerce, will be held Thursday, October 29th at the Lockemy Courtyard. Tickets are limited.
Hallowe’en trick-or-treating will be held on Saturday, October 31st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. adv.
