The following resolutions were passed by the Dillon County Council in honor of the two World Series Champion teams:

Resolution by Dillon County Council
WHEREAS, sports activities play an integral part in the teaching and preparing of young people for the challenges of life, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Dillon has developed an exceptional Dixie Softball sports program for our youth, and;
WHEREAS, the Dillon Dixie Darlings Division has won three Dixie Darlings State Tournaments for the past three years, and;
WHEREAS, the Dixie Darlings 8U 2015 Softball Team did win the Dixie Darlings Softball World Series Championship on August 5, 2015;
WHEREAS, the Dillon County Council believes that this accomplishment should be recognized by Dillon County;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that Dillon County, through the Dillon County Council, does congratulate the members of the Dillon Dixie Darlings 8U Softball Team for winning the 2015 Dixie Darlings Softball World Series Championship on August 5th 2015, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Dillon County, through the Dillon County Council, does further congratulate the entire team, coaches, other workers, parents, fans and many volunteers, without whom this accomplishment could not have been achieved.
This resolution is passed this 26th day of August 2015, by Dillon County Council in a meeting duly assembled.

WHEREAS, the Latta Angels 10U 2015 Softball Team did win the Dixie Angels Softball World Series Championship on August 5, 2015, and;
WHEREAS, the Dillon County Council believes that this accomplishment should be recognized by Dillon County;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that Dillon County, through the Dillon County Council, does congratulate the members of the Latta Angels 10U Softball Team for winning the 2015 Dixie Angels Softball World Series Championship on August 5th 2015, and
