Services for Billy Ray Barfield will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
     Mr. Barfield, 59, died Friday, August 21, 2015 in Laurinburg, NC, after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
     Born in Dillon County, SC, February 3, 1956, he was the son of Arnettie Herring Barfield and the late Claude Brooks Barfield.  He was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church.
     Survivors include his sisters and brothers, Edna Faye Lawless of Honea Path, SC, Joyce Dewberry of GA, Lynette Jackson of Latta, Larry Barfield of Graham, NC, Harold Barfield of Laurens, Wanda Gail Barfield of Mullins, Joe Barfield of Clinton, SC, Bonnie Kay Barfield of Dillon, and Johnny Wayne Barfield of Latta.
     Billy Ray was preceded in death by his father; sisters and brothers, Helen Hulon, Claudia Sanders, Jerry Barfield, and Danny Barfield.
