Pee Dee Community Action and their community partners including Absolute Total Care held “Holiday Hope” recently to provide help and hope that last beyond the holidays.
Many resources were available for family members of all ages from infants to senior citizens.
Free food boxes and gift cards were given away. Free COVID-19 vaccines and boosters were available.
Anita Magwood, Strengthening Families Program Manager, and Chevella German, Site Coordinator, said it was a blessing to provide these resources to the community and that she hoped the information, resources, and other help those who attended received would extend well into the new year.
