Frank Campbell, age 81, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at his residence. He was the son of the late Fern Campbell and Maggie Rogers Campbell. He was born in Dillon, moved at a very early age to the Pleasant Hill section of Dillon County where he lived the remaining years of his earthly life. He was the widower of Donna Sue Merritt Campbell, and was a father to eight children. He was a farmer, and was an employee of Dixiana Mill, and the Anvil plant before his retirement.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Survivors include his 2 daughters, Carol Stubbs of Dillon, Terry (Angel) Trejo of Dillon; 4 sons, Michael (Danielle) of Dillon, Franklin, Eric (Ashley), Jerry (Danielle), all of the Pleasant Hill Community; one brother, Neil Campbell of the Gaddy’s Mill section; one sister, Kate Miller of Dillon; daughter-in-law, Lori; grandchildren, Ronnie, Misty, Austin, Miguel, Jessica, Emmanuel, Maggie, Madelyn, Josie, Colton, Kenlynn, Destini, Michaela, Shayla, Noa, Katelyn, Ethan, Franklin, Jr., Christopher, Lexie, Destanie, Jason, and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Devin, Ansley, Junebug, Jeffery, Aubrey, Hunter, Michael, and KaMorah; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Angela, Maggie, Nikki, and Colt; special canine companions, Roscoe and Boo, and he loved his chickens.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his wife who was the love of his life; 2 sons, David and Jeffrey; 2 brothers, Albert and Fern, Jr.; 2 sisters, Shirley Miller and Susan Walters; one grandson, Kevin Outlar.
