Services for Daniel Maloy Hamer were held Sunday October 29, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum.
Mr. Hamer, 86, died Thursday October 26, 2023 at his residence following an illness.
Born in Dillon County August 20, 1937 he was the son of the late Daniel Franklin and Mary Edna Hamer. He was a member of The Dillon Church of God and was salesman at Dillon Wood Works.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Delois Hamer of Dillon; son, Dan Hamer, Jr. of Dillon; Nephew, Mike Hamer; Nieces, Patty Seawright and Kathy Demery; Grandchildren, James Hamer and Daniel Leroy Hamer; step children and step grandchildren.
Mr. Hamer was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Martin.
