Services for Jesse David Hinson, Jr. will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in Evergreen Perpetual Care Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Hinson, 54, died Saturday, September 30, 2023 at his residence.
Born in Boonton, New Jersey, June 28, 1969, he was the son of the late Jesse David “J.D. Hinson, Sr. and Barbara Ann Evans Hinson.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Wendy Hinson of Latta; children, Barbara Tyler (David) of Latta, Daina Shell (Justin) of Dillon, and Jesse J. Hinson (Amanda) of Latta; grandchildren, Cheyannah Shell, Katelynn Shell, Morgan Tyler, Reese Shell, Mason Tyler, and Jesse J. Hinson, Jr.; sister, Annette Hinson Driggers of Dillon; brother, Donny Hinson (Suzie) of Dillon; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces, Jessica Smith, and Amanda Hinson.
Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. & Barbara Ann Hinson; grandson, Jesse Ray Shell; and his nephew, Donny Hinson, II.
