The Dillon County Theatre is counting on you to help keep its legacy and future alive and flourishing.
The Theatre has undergone some refurbishment over the summer, including an enhanced air conditioning and heating system, and is ready for the upcoming season.
The 2023-2024 Season “Thursdays in the Theatre” will include the following events on Thursday evenings:
1. Thursday, October 19, The West Florence Knight Edition under the direction of Niki Raines. This show choir featuring singers and dancers will present a program of popular and standard musical selections.
2. Thursday, December 7, A Dillon County Christmas Celebration featuring local performers, singers, instrumentalists, and dancers.
3. Thursday, February 15, Blue, Red, Black-African Americans and The Revolutionary War featuring Don West from South Carolina Humanities Speakers Bureau. In observance of African American History Month.
4. Thursday, March 14, How Shirley Temple Saved America featuring Kathryn Smith from South Carolina Humanities Speaker Bureau. In observance of Women’s History Month.
5. Thursday, March 21, The Annual Dillon County Theatre Gala at Twin Lakes Country Club extending the traditional celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day.
