The Unity In The Community held service at Second Baptist Church in Dillon on Sunday, September 17, at 6:00 p.m.
The opening hymn by the congregation was led by the Second Baptist Church.
The East Dillon Baptist Church’s choir led by Mrs. Connie Smith performed 2 hymns that were well received by those in attendance.
Second Baptist Church’s pastor Richie Hicks welcomed all and offered a prayer.
East Dillon Baptist Church’s pastor James Smith delivered the message from Matthew 21:12-16 that speaks about the Temple and the House of God, a House of Prayer.
The Church is not the building. If one is a born believer in God, one is the Church. Jesus is speaking to the redeemed. Hell will be filled with church people and good people. Heaven will be filled with Christian believers.
Pilot said “What shall I do with this man called Jesus?” God wants to know “What will you do with Jesus”?
Jesus wants us to be a holy church as God is holy.
Prayer and an invitation was given. Second Baptist Church is located at 1016 Highway 301 South, Dillon.
