Mrs. Vangle Jones Lambert, age 100, widow of Jessie Lambert, of Marion, peacefully transitioned into a better world during the evening of Thursday, August 24, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones, while at her daughter’s home in Florence. A graveside service for Ms. Vangle was held August 27 at 1:30 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery of Marion, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.

Jerry O. Douglas, 73, passed away, Monday, September 11, 2023, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Dillon Pentecostal Holiness Church directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
