Don’t miss your chance to participate in the 4th Annual Dillon 4-H Scarecrow Contest. Our contest will run during National 4-H Week, October 2nd-6th. Registration is open to all Businesses, Residents, and Schools in Dillon, Lake View, and Latta and will close on September 19th.

Last year, we had over 10 participants in our 4-H scarecrow contest and helped promote National 4-H Week across our county.
Two prizes were awarded: People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice. Lake View Elementary won the 2022 People’s Choice award by receiving the most likes on our Dillon County 4-H Facebook page with their fishing-themed scarecrow.
Latta FFA won the 2022 Judge’s Choice award with their farm-themed display.
We can’t wait to see what our participants create this year. We look forward to getting Dillon County in the fall spirit with this fun FREE contest.
