Five suspects have been arrested and another is sought for a case involving the theft of metal from Lockamy’s Scrap Metal in Dillon.
The case is still under investigation, and more arrests are expected to be coming, according to Detective Allan Rogers of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Arrested are:
—Michael Beckwith, burglary third degree and petit larceny
—Jacob Chaffin, burglary third degree (two counts), petit larceny (two couns), possession of burglary tools
—Chadwick McMillan, burglary third degree and petit larceny
—John Dakota Hunt, burglary third degree (two counts), petit larceny (two counts), possession of burglary tools
—Deloris Gearhart, Obtaining permit for the purpose of transporting or selling stolen nonferrous metal
Wanted is:
—Michael Anthony Taylor for Obtaining permit for the purpose of transporting or selling stolen nonferrous metal
Anyone with any information on this case or who knows the whereabouts of Michael Anthony Taylor is asked to call the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office at 843-774-1432.
