Koszo Briggs, age 74, of Dillon, SC, passed away on December 26, 2022, at Pruitt Health Nursing Home in Dillon, SC. He was born on January 6, 1948.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dermont Oscar Briggs and Gladys Irene Burkhart Briggs, sister Linda Lou Briggs Loflin, brother-in-law Max Gordon Loflin.
He is survived by his nephews, Mark Loflin (Sharon); Eric Loflin; Brant Loflin, and Philip Loflin (Lavonda), all of Lexington; and their children, Mitchell, Erin, and Jake Loflin. He also leaves hehind his longtime friends who were like family.
Koszo was a contractor and real estate investor in North Carolina and South Carolina for several years. He loved the river, boating, and his dogs.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 7 at 3 p.m. at Koszo Briggs river front cabin, 2401 Blow Horn Place, Dillon, SC 29536. Anyone is welcome to come and celebrate Koszo’s life and the memories made together.
