The Lake View Woman’s Club met on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the Lake View Library. Members received an orientation titled “Beeing a Good Club Member.”
Attendees were giving paper bees with suggestions on how to be a good club member, which they then shared with the group.
A history of the club was also read and noted that the organization has been in existence since 1934 and were responsible for the first library in Lake View. The program chairperson for the day was Betty Bass.
She introduced her granddaughter Kristen Mendenhall King who is a nurse with McLeod Nurse Family Partnership.
Kristen gave an informative program and let the club know how they might support this worthwhile program.
Linda Rogers, Acting President was recognized as the Lake View Club Woman of the Year. Jenny Price was welcomed as a new club member.
