Head Coach Emilee Price and assistants Emily Babbitt and Heather Kirby coached their team, HS Generals, to the championship of the high school All-American Softball Tournament held in Myrtle Beach this past weekend.
The team went undefeated through 5 games and allowed only 5 total runs.
The championship game was played on Sunday. The HS Generals won the game with the 10-run rule in the fourth inning.
First-time head coach Emilee Price and the entire coaching staff, was so excited not only for themselves but also for the team.
Emilee Price and Emily Babbitt stated “We are so blessed that we got to share this experience with them. This group of girls are crazy talented and are so driven, they are gonna go so far in their softball careers. We are so glad we got to be a part of this. These girls were from all over the country and played like a true team. They truly worked together the entire time. We also want to thank Heather Kirby who was our former college coach for her invaluable coaching help during these games.”
Emilee Price is formerly from Dillon, S.C. She is the daughter of Chris Price and the granddaughter of Bobby and Cathorine Price of Dillon, S.C.
