National Day of Prayer will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, on the grounds of the Dillon County Courthouse at 12:00 noon.
The theme is “Not In Word, But In Deed.” The scripture is Matthew 25:31-46.
The program agenda is as follows:
1.Welcome—Henry Altman- Main St. UMC
2. Our Nation—Jamont McRae-Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal
3. Our Schools—Anthony Alford, Bethel, Pleasant Grove, Springfield UMC
4. Musical Selection —Rick and Katrina McMahan, Emmanualville Holiness
5. Our Medical Providers— Dr. Amid Hamidi, Emergency Room Physician McLeod, Dillon
6. The value of human life—Steven Tyler, Sardis Baptist Church
7. Yes, Jesus Loves Me—Rickey Stuckey, St. Stephens, St. Luke, Beulah UMC
8. Peace and Cessation of Violence—Jamie Arnette, Dillon First Baptist
9. Spiritual Growth and Unity—Ron Taylor, Pee Dee Baptist Association
10. Thanksgiving for Our God—Joseph Graham, New Memorial Temple
Hot dogs, chips, and a bottle of water to be served by Reaching out for Jesus Ministries and the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office and purchased by the Dillon County Ministerial Alliance.
The sound system and keyboard will be provided by Pyerian Baptist Church.
