Robert “Bob” Lee Landers, 77, passed away, Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Generations of Chapin.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Riverside Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, July 28, 1944, he was the son of the late William Jerome Landers and Cora Bell Jackson Landers. He was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church and was a US Army National Guard Veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Lashell Head (William B.) of Chapin; grandchildren, Emily & Shelby Head; sisters, Frances Townsend of Florence and Faye Miller of Lake View; brother, David Landers of Florence; multiple nieces and nephews whom he adored.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Lamar Landers; and a brother, William “Billy” Jerome Landers, Jr.
