Dillon City Manager Glen Wagner’s contract was extended for three years to expire on February 28, 2025. This action took place at the November meeting of the Dillon City Council after an executive session. Wagner also received a seven percent salary increase. Councilman Tim Cousar made the motion to extend the contract seconded by Councilman James Washington. The motion passed unanimously.
Police officers also got a salary increase at this meeting. Councilman Johnny Eller made a motion to increase the police officers salary by $3,000 per year. Councilman Tim Cousar seconded the motion. The motion passed 6-0.
