The Dillon Christian School Warriors picked up a 64-51 win over the visiting Conway Christian Eagles in varsity basketball action played in Dillon on Friday, January 28.
Dillon had a comfortable lead, 17-6, after the first quarter of play. By halftime, Dillon had increased the lead to 21 points, 31-10. After 3 quarters of play, Dillon led 51-30.
Dillon’s Greyson Singletary pumped in 23 points on seven 2-point baskets, two 3-point baskets, and 3 free throws while Jackson Outlar scored 22 points on two 2-point baskets, five 3-point baskets, and 3 free throws. Thompson Stone added 15 points with a 2-point basket, three 3-point baskets, and was perfect at the charity line with 4 points. Kaden Locklear added a 3-point basket, and Gavin Jones connected for a free throw.
Dillon Christian School made 11 of 14 attempted free throws in the game while Conway Christian made 9 of 18 attempted free throws.
Conway’s Deontray Onley placed 23 points onto the scoreboard. He sank nine 2-point baskets and 5 free throws.
Wyatt Polatty added 11 points on five 2-point baskets and a free throw. Dalton Droll connected for 8 points with four 2-point baskets. Reid Richardson had a 2-point basket and 3 free throws for 5 points. Josian Crawford added two 2-point baskets for 4 points.
Conway Christian committed 2 fouls in the first half and 9 fouls in the second half while Dillon Christian committed 3 fouls in the first half and 11 fouls in the second half.
