Paula Maria McCutchan, 64, of Avella, PA, formerly of Dillon, SC, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born on February 27, 1957 in Dillon, SC daughter of Elda Mae Howell McCutchan of Dillon, SC and the late Paul Sloan McCutchan Sr.
Paula was a strong, independent, ornery, stubborn woman; who deeply loved her family and friends, especially her best friend, Heather Calleffe.
She had lived in Avella for the past five years. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving in addition to her mother are a son, Matthew McCutchan of Avella; a daughter, April McCutchan and Justin Nielsen of Monongahela; 10 grandchildren: Shawn, Pilar, Zander, Sha, Jaedyn, Meira and Kaylee Maria McCutchan, Savannah Corn, Danielle, and Cheyenne Schwingel; two brothers, Paul (Deborah) McCutchan, Jr. of South Carolina, Gary Hyatt of Dillon, SC; four sisters, Kathy (Carlton) Driggers of Lake View, SC, Mary Lou (Brett) Arion of Florence, SC, Jennifer (Matthew) Cox of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jamie McCutchan of Florence, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
All funeral arrangements were private and were handled by Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., Avella, PA.
