On September 12th, Pyerian Baptist Church celebrated its second Missionary To My Own Home service.
Earlier families went through an orientation and class on the importance of sharing Jesus Christ with everyone in their household and the importance of living out our faith before others. The class was lead by Dr. and Mrs. Ben and Megan Snipes, who had been participants in the first class.
Pastor James Orr was on hand to answer questions and support the group.
Missions Mobilizer Brendon Wung of Alpharetta, GA delivered the message of the importance and need for missionaries around the world and teaching our children Kingdom values that lead to a Christian world viewpoint.
At the end of the service, the families received prayer, a new family devotional, and a certificate to hang in their homes.
