The Latta Vikings dropped a close decision, 7-0, to Carvers Bay on Friday, August 13, in a scrimmage game played in the Jamboree at McAlpine Stadium in Bennettsville.

The Latta Vikings dropped a close decision, 7-0, to Carvers Bay on Friday, August 13, in a scrimmage game played in the Jamboree at McAlpine Stadium in Bennettsville.
The first quarter saw some great plays on both sides.
The first quarter ended with neither team crossing the goal line.
With 8:46 remaining in the second quarter, Carvers Bay’s #8 carried the pigskin in for 6 points. The PAT was good by #8.
There was some great offensive and defensive plays by both teams.
Each team moved the ball but was stopped before scoring.
Latta was forced to punt with 3 minutes remaining. However, Latta quickly recovered a fumble and began to drive.
The game ended with Carvers Bay up 7-0.
