LATTA – Helen Marie Cox, 69, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at her home. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Bethesda Southern Methodist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church. Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta is assisting the family.
Helen was born in Dillon, SC on March 18, 1952, the daughter of the late Gary Calhoun Cox, Jr. and Helen George Cox. She retired from Oak River Mills as a Machine Operator. Helen attended Bethesda Southern Methodist Church and enjoyed watching Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart. Ms. Cox loved to cook and spending time with her family.
Helen is survived by her sons, Terry George Hulon (Raven) of Latta and Gary Wayne Hulon of Latta; daughters, Jeanne Marie Hulon of Latta and Amy Moore (Larry) of Sellers; grandchildren, Taylor Hulon (Michael Green), Brittany Roberts (Josh Graham), Hannah Roberts, Brooke Roberts, Lilly Hulon (Rasean Green), Dylan Hulon (Brianna Shelley), Daniel Hulon, Jaylan Hulon, Chelsea Caulder, Haley Moore (Dakota Locklear), JR Moore (Kirstin Woodle), Preston Moore, Ian Seals, and Jacob Seals; twenty great-grandchildren; sister, Judy C. Daniels (Ray) of Latta, SC; and fur baby, Stella Rae. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Loria Ann Cox and Beverly Jean Cox Hunt; and brother, Cecil Warren Cox, Sr.
