The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office has charged Thomas Melvin Martin, age 43, of Hamlet, N.C. with attempted murder for the shooting that occurred Friday, February 5, 2021 at Reflexxions 2.0 Club that injured one person, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Martin was taken into custody on Friday, February 12, 2021 by the U.S. Marshals in Richmond County, North Carolina.
Martin is currently in custody in Richmond County, North Carolina awaiting extradition to Dillon County.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The lead investigator is Detective Derrick Cartwright and assisted by Detective Shannon Grainger with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
