Latta picked up a win over Marion and Mullins in a Cross Country meet held on Thursday, October 8, held in Latta.
The Latta girls were the only school to compose a qualifying team while Latta and Marion both fielded teams for the boys.
The Latta boys picked up a 22 to 38 win over visiting Marion.
Individual times are as follows for the boys: Latta’s Zachary Peacock 21:18 while Anthony Lester of Marion had a time of 21:44. Latta’s Hayden Bullard had a time of 22:11, and Mullins’ Thomas Rankin’s score was 22:41. Marion’s Grayson Hartson had a time of 22:53, and Latta’s Blake Hamilton had a score of 25.57. Other scores included: Latta’s Cristian Hamilton 25:57, Latta’s John Gasque 27:08, Latta’s Noah Williams 28:22, Marion’s Joshua Arzola 28:35, Latta’s Jacob Roberts 31:33, Marion’s Jacobie Narciso 31:50, and Marion’s Kolson Hartson 33:53.
The girls’ scores were as follows: Marion’s Kallie Johnson 27:07, Latta’s Moya McDuffie 29:31, Latta’s Katelynn Roberts 29:42, Latta’s Isabella Freudenburg 30:38, Latta’s Cassidi Skipper 31:10, Marion’s A. Arzola 31:59, Latta’s Lea Khalil 32:46, Latta’s Tori Watson 32:51, Mullins’ H. Hewitt 33:26, and Latta’s Alyssa Brigman 35:35.
Coach Chris Williams is in charge of the Latta Cross Country team.
Latta will host the Regional Meet on Tuesday, October 27, at 5:00 p.m.
