A-1 Auto Transport is a car shipping and moving company with offices in major cities and metropolitan areas worldwide, including the Dillon County vicinity. We are excited to report that our scholarship program is now available to eligible students in the area. To be eligible, a student must be enrolled at a college, university, or institute of trucking or logistics and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. For consideration, the student must write an essay about the auto transport industry in 1,000 or more words.
To obtain additional information on the opportunity, and to read samples of winning essays, visit the website at A1 Auto Transport.
Scholarships will be awarded in the amounts of $250, $500 or $1,000 to the winners.
Students must submit their essays to scholarships@a1autotransport.com along with their name, school name, mailing address, email address and phone number. The deadline for essays is March 10 of each year, with scholarships to be awarded for the fall semester.
After the deadline for essay submission, A-1 Auto Transport’s scholarship committee will review each essay carefully. The committee will check for plagiarism and originality, as well as style and relevance to the auto shipping industry. Essays must not be found published anywhere else online. At the end of March, winning essays will be announced on the A-1 website. All winners are also notified by email. Once the scholarship decisions are made, scholarship funds will be sent directly to the student’s school’s financial office.
