Two people are dead, and one is seriously injured as a result of a deadly shooting that occurred at Pine Village Mobile Home Park in Dillon on Tuesday, June 16, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly shooting is currently under investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office and Dillon County Coroner’s Office. The Dillon County Coroner has ordered autopsies on the deceased.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (Sled) Crime Scene Unit assisted the Sheriff’s Office process the scene. Deputies with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to mobile home park for shots fired just after 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by support from the Dillon Police Department, Latta Police Department, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
