Services for Freddie Eugene Lane were held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation was held 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Lane, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at his residence.
Born in Dillon, SC, February 11, 1945, he was the son of the late Douglas Walker Lane and Ruth Phillips Lane.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Pamela Susanne Lane of Dillon; daughter, Beth Lane Clark (Michael) of Maxton, NC; sons, Robert “Robbie” Lane (Susan), Brandon Ray Lane, and Julian Lawrence Lane , all of Dillon; grandchildren, Sarah Bailey Clark, Lily Harper Clark, Mason Lane, and Alexandra “Alex” Lane; great-grandchildren, Lucas Carter Lane and Gemma Rae Ashworth; sister, Diane Hyatt (Dennis) of Dillon; and canine companion, Too Sweet “Toot” Lane.
Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ralph Lane, and Guy Lane; and sisters, Barbara Alford, JoAnn Carter, and Miriam Harrelson.
