The Hamer Church of God celebrated Homecoming on Sunday, November 10.
After a brief Sunday School, Pastor Stan Rankin had the opening prayer and welcomed everyone. He also made announcements.
The Church Choir sang gospel songs accompanied by the ones who played the guitar, drums, and piano.
Pastor Rankin had a brief history of the church from its humble beginnings until now. Also, he along with the church, honored and recognized those of the church who had gone before the congregation and paved the way for what the congregation enjoys today.
Rev. Tony Edwards and the Tony Edwards Trio were the guest ministers for this homecoming.
Pastor Edwards presently is the Pastor of the Newry Church of God in Senaca, S.C.
The Tony Edwards Trio was well received by those in attendance today.
Pastor Edwards gave an inspiring message that was also well received.
At the conclusion of the service, everyone was invited for a time of fellowship and a delicious homecoming meal in the Family Life Center.
