On Friday, October 11, 2019 deputies with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to an individual that had been attacked by a dog, Cliff Arnette, Captain, Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred at a mobile home park on Oaky Point Road in Latta.
The female victim was in the yard when the attack occurred.
The female victim was taken to the hospital for her injuries from the attack.
Deputies attempted to locate the dog after the attack but were unsuccessful
The dog was located on Sunday, October 13, 2019 by deputies and taken to the Dillon County Animal Shelter.
