Five members of The Yellow Jessamine Garden Club attended the 2019 GCSC (Garden Club of South Carolina) Summer Expo at Midlands Technical College, Lexington, SC on August 3, 2019.
16 instructional and thorough workshops, plant and seed swap, craft vendors, and much more were offered.
Special guest speaker, Paul Thompson from the Clemson Extension presented “Gardening for Bees” which was a very informative program. A boxed lunch was provided from Panera Bread.
It was a supercharged day that was completely filled with the knowledge to inspire garden clubs to be mission minded! Special thanks to the GCSC and President Trish Bender for making it possible!
