Rev. Harold Cooke opened the Sunday morning 11:00 a.m. service with prayer and the announcements.
He introduced special guests, Heart2Heart, a Southern Gospel trio who blessed the congregation with songs and the Word. “I’m Saved”, Until You’ve Known The Love Of God”, “When I Lay My Heavy Burdens Down”, “Treasures Of Life”, “He Is There”, “Medley”, “Through It All”, “God Delivers Again”, “I Believe In Prayer”, and “Until He Comes” were some of the songs sang during the service.
Heart2Heart began in 1998 and call Cherryville, N.C., home. Heart2Heart is made up of a husband and wife, David and Deana Kiser, and longtime friend, Rhonda House, who sings soprano.
At the conclusion of the service, an invitation was given. Mount Calvary Baptist Church is located at 405 Mount Calvary Road, Dillon.
