Services for Martha Louise Strickland were held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Dillon Church of God with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Ms. Strickland, 61, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at MUSC in Charleston, SC.
Born in Marlboro County, SC, March 31, 1958, she was the daughter of Nettie Mae Gist Hunt and the late Alton Eugene Hunt.
Survivors include her daughter, Kelly (Trey) Edwards of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Carly Strickland and Savannah Edwards; mother, Nettie Mae Gist Hunt of Dillon; sisters, Lois (James) Herring of Dillon, Stella (Sammy) Thompson of Hamer, Susie (Michael) Stewart of Dillon, Mary (Eric) Paige of Summerville, SC, Bonnie (Raymond) Lane of Hamer; brothers, James Hunt of Little Rock, Charles Hunt of Dillon, and Ricky (Susan) Hunt of Little Rock; many loved nieces and nephews.
Ms. Strickland was preceded in death by her father; and her son, Brian Strickland.
